The Blue Birds Domino Club will host a team domino competition on July 2 and 3 at the Guyana Girl Guides on Brickdam from 14:00hrs and a $200,000 prize is up for grabs by the winners.
According to President of the Blue Birds club, Orin Joseph the event will be an annual one that will be played in a two-in-one knockout format. All domino teams including corporations are invited to take part in the event.
The winners of the tournament will receive $200,000 while second and third place teams will receive $100,000 and $75,000 respectively. Incentives will also be up for grabs in the competition as the female who shares the first love, the female to score the first double love along with the female to win the most overall games are some of the areas that will draw special incentives.
Teams must also be uniformed as the best uniformed team will receive an incentive according to Joseph.
Entrance fees for teams will be $10,000 and Joseph can be contacted on 685-6123 or 621-5515.
