Head of the Presidential Secretariat Dr Roger Luncheon has announced that around 400 Region Ten residents will receive their land titles.
“Cabinet endorsed and accepted the recommendation which essentially would regularise 400 odd residents in the mining areas. Specifically the regularisation would see passing of titles to the 400 plus residential occupiers of land,” he said at a recent post-Cabinet press briefing, the Government Information Agency (GINA) reported.
GINA said the Ministry of Housing and Water in collaboration with the Central Housing and Planning Authority will distribute titles to residents of Coomacka Mines, Nottinghamshire, Speightland and Industrial area.
