The selection committee of the Berbice Cricket Board (BCB) has called up 26 female cricketers for a one-day limited overs trial match scheduled for today at the Albion Community Centre Ground. After this match, the committee will name a squad of 14 players which will represent Berbice in this year’s Inter-county tournament which begins next Friday in Demerara. Included in the squad are West Indies cricketers Tremayne Smartt, Shemaine Campbelle, Subrina Munroe and Erva Giddings. The players are asked to be at Albion for 10.00 hours
