Has the WICB gone further berserk? Of the 20 playing days of the India/WI ODI’s and Test matches, only 4 or 20% of those days are on weekends.
The whole of the first Test was scheduled from Monday to Friday. I presumed that Jamaica would not have televised that Test match. It seems that cricketers are working on weekdays and getting the lucrative weekends off.
I sincerely hope that the Board is not going to grumble about loss of revenue due to poor attendance. Who is responsible for the itinerary, or is the WICB further burying Test cricket?.
