Members of a joint services team discovered a three-acre marijuana field on Saturday in the vicinity of Torani, Canje River.
There were approximately 15,000 marijuana plants ranging in height between two and four feet in the field which was under cultivation, police said in a press release yesterday.
An abandoned camp, two nurseries with about 10,000 seedlings and an unlicensed revolver were also found at the location, the release said. All the plants were destroyed and police have been unable to make an arrest.
