According to a report, the event was graced by newly appointed Guyanese High Commissioner to Canada Harry Nawbatt, Acting Consul General Sattie Sawh and other dignitaries. Vendors with food stalls interspersed on the grounds offered a wide variety of Guyanese cuisine including goat curry, cook up rice, pepper pot, dhalpuri, potato balls, black pudding, pastries, mauby, and did brisk business. ‘Guyana Where and What’ was said to be a major hit and an average of 500 persons picked up copies.
