A three-man team from the Guyana Football Federation (GFF) left for the mining town of Bartica yesterday to conduct a players’ assessment exercise with the aim of selecting players for a national under-17 camp to be held in Georgetown from July 17-25. This programme, which was also conducted in Georgetown and Lethem, is geared towards preparing a national unit to participate in the Under-17 World Cup qualifiers that will be hosted by Guyana in
mid-August. Guyana will play host to Anguilla and the Netherland Antilles.
The three-man delegation includes Technical Director of the GFF Mark Rodrigues, Colin Baker, Programme Director and Lawrence Griffith, Administrator.
