The Neal and Massy Group will host a security expo next week, where it will showcase security systems and safety products.
The ‘Electronic Security and Safety Expo’ will run from July 14 to 15, 2011, a release from the Group said. It quoted Chief Executive officer Deo Persaud as saying that the aim of the expo is to sensitise Guyanese to its safety and security offerings. He added that while the expo would showcase all aspects of security, the focus would be mainly on Electronic Security Systems and Safety Products.
“We want to demonstrate that we are capable of and have the capacity to utilise available technology for affordable safety and security solutions,” he said, while noting that “it is now possible to achieve higher levels of protection in a cost effective way.”
The release stated that the Group has been providing security solutions for almost two decades now, through Securicor Guyana, and more recently through NM Security Solutions. Over the past five years, it has also added Electronic Security and Safety Products through CCS Guyana and AINLIM, respectively.
These companies have been working together to provide integrated solutions to meet customers’ needs and they feel that the time is right to put all security and safety products and services in one location for viewing by interested persons, the release explained.
“We want everyone to know that we are here and we have all the products and services to help them with their security solutions and safety needs,” Persaud was also quoted as saying.
Items on show will include: Closed Circuit Television (CCTV); access controls; intruder, panic and fire alarms; metal detectors; and intercom and fire suppression systems.
The expo would see a viewing by invitation only on Thursday and a public viewing on Friday.
