The Guyana Football Federation and FIFA administration and management five-day course at the Convention Centre of the Ocean View Hotel will conclude today.
The course was supervised by course instructor and coordinator, Jamaican FIFA instructor Howard McIntosh and Kirk Douglas. Guyana Olympic Association President Charles Corbin delivered the opening remarks.
The course attracted 25 participants from the respective super league clubs and regional associations throughout Guyana.
The seminar covered a variety of topics ranging from management, marketing, fan development, events management, and FIFA statutes, structures and organizations.
The course which is one of many planned by the GFF for the remainder of 2011 aimed over the past five days to give local administrators and coaches the relevant knowledge and skills to lead and foster growth and development of football in properly constituted associations and clubs.
