Keisha Jeffrey won her fifth title on Sunday when she defeated Ashley Khalil in the female under-19 final of the Digicel Junior Caribbean Squash Championships at the Georgetown Club Courts.
Jeffrey took the match in four sets at 11-5, 11-5, 7-11 and 11-6 to defeat the in form Khalil in the finals.
Khalil’s younger brother Jason-Ray settled for nothing less than gold in the male under-17 as he defeated Mandela Patrick of Trinidad in three sets: 11-6, 11-8 and 11-8
Akeila Wiltshire surpassed her younger sister Larissa Wiltshire to claim the under-15 female title in three sets 11-3, 11-9 and 11-2 while Nyron Joseph carted off the male version in three sets.
Benjamin Mekdeci then claimed the boy’s under-13 title against Danny Chesham of Barbados in 3 sets: 11-3, 11-8 and 11-7.
