Police on Monday destroyed a 13-acre marijuana field at Hauraruni Creek Linden/Soesdyke Highway, but no arrests have been made.
During a narcotics eradication operation, police ranks found the field, which was under cultivation with approximately 15,600 cannabis sativa (marijuana) plants, ranging between 3 feet and 12 feet in height, along with eight nurseries containing approximately 40,000 seedlings, three tarpaulin camps, 20 kilogrammes of dried cannabis sativa and 2 kilogrammes cannabis seeds, police said in a statement issued yesterday.
