Salim Baseer, was charged with attempting to kill his wife Malini Baseer, and placed on granted $300,000 bail.
The man answered an attempted murder charge at the Wales Magistrates’ Court yesterday over the July 7 stabbing of his wife. He is to reappear at court on July 18.
Malini Baseer, meanwhile, has been transferred from the Intensive Care Unit to the Females’ Surgical Ward at the Georgetown Public Hospital, where she is still recovering.
