The Guyana Manufacturing and Services Association (GMSA) has issued a final call for private sector companies to register for the two-day Third Caribbean/China Economic Forum and Trade Exposition set for Trinidad and Tobago in September.
In a press release the GMSA said it expects to lead a contingent of Guyanese entrepreneurs who are involved in modern clean energy production, construction, tourism, information technology, agriculture and agro-processing, mining and hospitality and other ventures.
The group noted that there are many benefits to be had from engaging in trade and investment with the Chinese businesses. The forum will also serve as a platform for establishing new business ventures and partnerships while strengthening existing relationships with Chinese entrepreneurs. The GMSA also urges the business community to submit their profiles, along with their preferred area of business to its 157 Waterloo Street headquarters (Tel.223-7405).
The exposition will be the third business forum organised by the People’s Republic of China in its drive to strengthen business ties with enterprises from across the Caribbean. It is set for September 12 and 13 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel.
