The West Berbice Private School Association was set up earlier this month.
In a press release, the Association said as an important stakeholder in the education sector it aims to enhance the delivery and outcome of each cycle in the education process relative to Region Five, and, by extension, the entire country. The Association said it aims to fulfil these goals by engaging other stakeholders and the ministry.
The group comprises President Abu Huriarah; Vice President Carlos Hamilton; Secretary Jacqueline Isaacs; Treasurer Shonnette Peters; Secretary/Treasurer Simone Saul; Activity Coordinator Jacqueline Harlequin; Professional Development Officer Trevlin George; and a number of committee members.
