ST JOHN’S, Antigua, CMC – Guyana will play hosts to the first ever women’s day/night match in the Caribbean outside of an International Cricket Council tournament, when West Indies face the touring Pakistanis in a Twenty20 doubleheader in September.
The two games, scheduled for the National Stadium at Providence, are part of a tour which includes four T20Is and four One-Day Internationals, and which runs from August 28 and September 11.
The doubleheader will be played on September 10 and 11, and will close out the tour.
West Indies will open the tour with the ODI series which will be contested at the Arnos Vale Sports Complex in St Vincent.
Teams will then travel to Grenada for the first two T20Is at Progress Park there.
The Windies Women are currently ranked joint third with India in the international T20 rankings and are currently sixth in ODIs.
Pakistan are joint fifth in T20s and eighth in ODIs.
