The Guyana Amateur Swimming Association’s (GASA) Goodwill Games time trials will take place today from 09:30hrs at Castellani Swimming Pool.
The meet which should have started yesterday was postponed to today due to the small number of entrants who had registered for the distance events, according to Technical Director for GASA, John Perreira.
Perreira said that most of the events will swim off today since there are limited numbers of competitors in a number of events.
However, the time trials are expected to bring Guyana’s best juniors together for a chance to take part in the Goodwill Games scheduled for Trinidad and Tobago from August 11-14.
