I have read the two letters in Stabroek News dated July 16 and July 17, 2011 concerning polls conducted in Guyana in early July by a certain pollster and by an organization called NACTA. I have serious doubts about the authenticity of any polls conducted by NACTA. Time and time again the pollster in question has been asked about the staff he employs, how the organization is funded, and its permanent address, and there has been no response. My point is not to criticize the organization or anyone per se, but to prevent the dissemination of incorrect information to the public.
