(Jamaica Observer) Homicide detectives are now on the scene of a double murder in Lauriston, a small community on the outskirts of Spanish Town in St Catherine, where two females were beheaded this morning.
Police report that the two females were attacked at their home in the community early this morning by a group of armed men.
They have been identified as Charmaine Rattray and her 19-year-old daughter Joyette Lynch.
The gruesome killings occurred near to the spot where 18-year-old Scott Thomas, also called ‘Scottie’, was beheaded at his home on Monday.
Thomas was attacked by a group of thugs armed with guns and machetes at his home. A relative who was with him was left unharmed.
The killings are believed to be linked to an ongoing feud between members of the notorious Klansman gang whose members have been at loggerheads for over a year over leadership of the gang.
The gang is known to control a multi-million dollar extortion racket which is based mainly in the old capital.
On Monday police offered a J$500,000 reward for information leading to the capture and charge of Navardo Hodges, otherwise called ‘Dee Jay’, who they say is a leading member of the Klansman gang from Spanish Town, St Catherine.
Hodges is wanted for several murders in the St Catherine North Police Division, especially Spanish Town.
Another leading member of the gang, Tesha miller, was recently sentenced to 15 years for illegal possession of a firearm and robbery with aggravation.
