Women have been able to access loans in excess of $200M for the first year, with over 1,000 benefitting from the micro-credit funds through the Ministry of Human, Services and Social Security’s Women of Worth (WOW) single parent facility, according to Head of the Presidential Secretariat Dr. Roger Luncheon.
Since the launch of the programme in June 2010, single parent mothers have been accessing financing which ranged from $100,000 to $250,000 to start a business,
