All is not well in Amerindian villages, say some leaders

Contrary to the statements put forth by government, all is not well in Amerindian communities, several leaders of indigenous communities have said.

Indigenous villages have “grave problems” with the cost of living in their communities, the proper running of schools, health facilities, communication and thus access to information as well as transportation, said Toshao of Arau, Devroy Thomas.
