The Guyana Police Force is advising motorists participating in or attending the motor races at the Timehri Racing Circuit tomorrow that the access road behind the Cheddi Jagan International Airport (CJIA) is currently closed.
This is owing to the Caribbean Airlines plane lying across the roadway following an incident at the CJIA earlier today, the police said in a release.
Consequently, motorists are advised to use the Soesdyke/Linden Highway and access the circuit through the Yarrowkabra Junction, the police said.
