The Society Against Sexual Discrimination (SASOD) is inviting students of law and related fields to participate in a training workshop on human rights and equality law.
In a press release, SASOD said it is partnering with Equal Rights Trust with support from the European Union under the European Instrument for Democracy and Human Rights Fund to implement a project titled ‘Empowering Civil Society to Challenge Homophobic Laws and Discrimination Against LBGTI Persons.’ As such, it is inviting human rights defenders and rights-supportive individuals to participate in the three-day workshop which will be facilitated by Dr Arif Bulkan of the Faculty of Law, University of the West Indies (UWI) and Tracy Robinson,
