President of the Guyana Rugby Football Union Kit Nascimento will be Guyana’s representative at the North America and Caribbean Rugby Association’s (NACRA) Annual General Meeting in Miami, Florida.
The meeting which commences tomorrow, will end on Sunday.
According to a release from the GRFU, the meeting “will be proceeded by a Strategic Planning Session in which the association will review its performance over the past three (3) years and examine the regional, global and technological environment and the economic realities facing the Association over the next three (3) years and the effect these will have on the organization of rugby in North America and the Caribbean.”
The International Rugby Board (IRB) will be represented at the Meeting by Mark Egan, IRB Head of Development and Performance, Tom Jones, IRB Regional General Manager, Scott Harland, Regional Development Officer, Niall Brooks, Administrative Officer, the current Executive Committee headed by Bob Latham, President of NACRA and representatives of the Cayman Islands, Bermuda, Jamaica, Trinidad & Tobago, British Virgin Islands, St. Lucia, St. Vincent & The Grenadines, Barbados, Mexico, Turks & Caicos Islands and Curacao.
