The CIOG has acquired a school bus from the Zakaat House of Kuwait to carry needy students to school.
In a press release the CIOG said the cost of the bus, inclusive of freight service is US$10,300. The bus will travel established routes and will take pupils to and from school free of cost.
The CIOG said the bus will allow it to meet its goal of making a difference in the lives of poor children by allowing them access to education. The group said it was able to realise this goal with contributions from Zakaat House, the Government and People of Kuwait, Mr Camacho of Sea Freight Shipping, David Ross of Seafreight Miami, Shahab Ahmed, Bangaru Bharrat, Orestes Castro of Florida.
