A man who made use of threatening language to his sister was remanded to prison by Magistrate Hazel Octave- Hamilton yesterday.
At the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court, it was alleged that on August 6, at Lot 290 Independence Boulevard, Georgetown, Eon Subryan made use ofthreatening language to Rehanna Subryan, thereby resulting in a breach of the peace.
The prosecution had no objection to bail but asked that the accused remove from the home in which he resides with the virtual complainant, pending the outcome of the matter. The defendant, however, told the court that he had no alternative address to remove to.
As a result, the man was later remanded to prison. The matter will be called again on October 18 at Court One.
