The Pan Caribbean Partnership against HIV and AIDS in partnership with the Insurance Association of the Caribbean (IAC), the Pan Caribbean Business Coalition (PCBC) and the US Government is hosting an Insurance and Health Forum today in Trinidad and Tobago.
According to a press release from the Caricom Secretariat, the one-day forum aims to examine the epidemiology of HIV and AIDS and its role in shaping decisions to provide insurance products for persons living with HIV and AIDS. It will also discuss country experiences in mainstreaming HIV in insurance.
The programme will be officially opened with a feature address by T&T Minister of Health Dr Fuad Khan. Douglas Camacho, president of the PCBC/IAC will also be giving an address. The meeting is being held at the Hyatt Regency hotel in Port-of-Spain.
