Magistrate Hazel Octave-Hamilton yesterday remanded a teenager accused of using a pair of scissors to rob a man of his blackberry cell phone,
Travis Anthony, 18, was not required to plead to the indictable charge of robbery under arms which stated that on August 8 at Georgetown, being armed with a pair of scissors, he robbed Bonny Parris of one Blackberry cell phone valued $60,000; property of the said Parris.
No facts of what transpired on the day in question were presented to the court; however, the prosecution requested that the accused be denied bail.
The teen was ordered to appear in Court One on October 21.
