Patrick Prashad continues to show top form as play intensified in the local golfing calendar leading up to the prestigious Guyana Open later this year.
Prashad recorded his second win in just over a month when the carted off last weekend’s Courts Guyana Inc. Stableford Golf tournament at the Lusignan golf Club.
The former Club captain recorded 40 points to triumph in the keenly contested affair.
Prashad recently won the Sanjay Jewellery tournament and will be a player to watch for the remainder of the season.
The ever improving Rawle Moore was second with 39 points while the experienced Fazil Haniff placed third with 38 points.
President of the Lusignan Golf Club Brian Hackett thanked Courts Guyana Inc. for sponsoring the tournament for the fourth successive year and praised the local furniture giants for their continued commitment to golf in Guyana.
He said Courts has maintained a very close relationship with the Club.
Steve Nauth, Finance Director and Kester Abrams, Marketing Assistant of Courts assisted in the presentation of prizes.
All the competing golfers were offered 10% of any purchase at Courts as an incentive. The players were also provided with caps from the sponsors.
