(Barbados Nation) The hierarchy of the Barbados Labour Party (BLP) yesterday apologized for comments made by one of its members Wednesday night in the House of Assembly.
The apology came from St Andrew parliamentary representative and BLP chairman George Payne after the House returned from a break.
It came in the wake of utterances by St George North MP Gline Clarke who, said Payne, had been speaking about the pending arrangement “between the Democratic Labour Party Government and the Barbados Motoring Club”.
“In order to identify which club is the club that [Finance Minister Christopher Sinckler] should have been dealing with, he did indicate, although it was not very clear, that it was the club dealing with the white people,” said Payne.
