Thank you for your letter dated August 23, 2011 seeking my response to a letter from Mr Mark Jacobs published in your newspaper on August 14, 2011, in relation to whether Guyana has a Consulate or Embassy in Haiti. Please be informed that the Government of Guyana does not have an Embassy or Consulate in the Republic of Haiti.
