Gov’t, Japan to sign agreement for second phase of East Coast conservancy rehab

The governments of Guyana and Japan are to next week sign an agreement for the second phase of rehabilitative works of the East Demerara Water Conservancy (EDWC).

According to a release from the Japanese authorities, the Ambassador of Japan, Tatsuaki Iwata, will sign notes of exchange for “the project for the rehabilitation of the East Demerara Water Conservancy 11,”
