Several parts of Georgetown were yesterday affected by constant power outages and the cause is still unknown as calls by Stabroek News to the Guyana Power and Light (GPL) went unanswered.
While persons in central Georgetown would have experienced the intermittent flow of electricity, areas as far as Diamond/Grove, East Bank Demerara; Blygezight Gardens, East Coast Demerara and even North and South Ruimveldt were affected by one and a half hours of blackout during the earlier part of the day.
