A post-mortem examination performed on the body of 75-year-old Elaine Harris on Friday revealed the cause of death as multiple injuries.
The Alberttown resident was on Wednesday last struck down by a police constable while she was standing in the vicinity of Smyth and Princes streets, Georgetown.
According to Police Public Relations Officer Ivelaw Whittaker, the matter is still under investigation. “There are still some matters to be clarified after which legal advice will be sought,” he said.
