BRIDGETOWN, Barbados, CMC – The High Performance Centre squad is set to play the West Indies senior team on their upcoming two-week tour of Dubai.
In a release yesterday, the West Indies Cricket Board said the game would form part of the West Indies camp in Dubai ahead of the tour of Bangladesh which runs from October 7 to November 2.
West Indies are scheduled to play one Twenty20 International, three One-Day Internationals and two Tests on the Bangladesh campaign.
The HPC tour, meanwhile, which runs from September 19 to October 3, will see the side playing two Twenty20s and four 50-over contests against several teams in Dubai Sports City.
HPC will open with a T20 against United Arab Emirates on September 23 and will follow up with another T20 against Afghanistan a day later.
They will then play 50-over matches against UAE, Afghanistan, the Windies and the UAE A team.
The HPC squad will comprise the likes of wicketkeeper Devon Thomas who has already played nine One-Day Internationals and fast bowler Brandon Bess and batsman Kieran Powell who have both played a single Test.
