Gone overboard

Gone overboard:  This minibus transporting passengers into Mocha Arcadia yesterday afternoon found itself in the trench when the driver lost control after the vehicle’s steering was reportedly cut. There were no casualities in the incident which occurred at approximately 5:15 pm in First Street, Mocha. Sixteen persons were reportedly in the minibus at the time of the accident. After the bus toppled over, residents from the community jumped into the trench and assisted persons to safety. Some of the passengers were taken to the Diamond Diagnostic Centre and some to the Georgetown Hospital to be treated for minor injuries.
