With reference to the Stabroek News letter dated Thursday, September 1, 2011, with the caption ‘Work done by contractors for GPL deficient,’ on September 7, one of the company’s senior metering technicians visited the premises of J Kadaru to verify the allegations made by the customer in your newspaper. Upon investigation the technician found that rectification works were needed to correct some wiring. This was done on September 8.
GPL wishes to apologize for any inconvenience that may have been caused as a result of delayed corrective actions.
