Police ranks discovered an unlicensed .32 Taurus pistol with seven rounds on one of three men on whom they conducted searches in the Tucville area on Wednesday last.
According to a police press release, at about 18:50 hours, ranks of a mobile patrol stopped and searched the three men who were together at the time.
The men have been arrested and are currently in police custody assisting with the investigation.
