ATLANTA, Georgia, CMC – Former undisputed World cruiserweight champion O’Neil “Give ‘Em Hell” Bell will be looking to put a string of bad defeats behind him when he faces American Harvey Jolly on October 8 in a 10-round bout.
The Jamaica-born Bell, 36, lost his last three trips into the ring and will be looking to turn his fortunes around on the card set for the DC Star Night Club in the American capital of Washington, DC.
Bell, who is now managed by prominent Washington DC doctor Richard Ashby, now boasts a record of 26 wins, four losses and one draw, with 24 knock-outs.
His career reached a pinnacle five years ago when he knocked out Jean-Marc Mormeck at Madison Square Garden to unify all three major world titles.
Jolly, 34, is nicknamed the “Candy Man” and carries a ring record of 12 wins, including six knockouts, 17 losses, and a draw.
