Dear Editor,
A government can be seen as the enemy by the US, UK and France just for standing up for the rights of its people. A few days ago the US representative and other western representatives walked out of the UN General Assembly during President Ahmadinejad‘s address because they did not want to hear the truth about themselves.
Iran is regarded as an enemy by the US and other allies just because the Iranian leaders will not be dictated to. As far as the Americans, British and French are concerned, Iran must not prepare its defences. The Iranians have shown more decency than the Americans with regard to foreign prisoners; Iran has released two American prisoners accused of spying.
America, on the other hand, has prisoners locked away in chains in Guantanamo without trial. America and Britain destroyed Iraq and they are accusing Iran of sponsoring terrorism.
Yours faithfully,
W P George
