Demerara Bank Limited donated “much needed items” to several charities last month end as part of what it termed its social responsibility to help build a better nation. In a press release the Bank said it made a donation of food, household and cleaning items, school supplies and office furniture to the Cheshire Home, the David Rose School for the Handicapped, the Guyana Society for the Blind, the Dharm Shala and the Mother’s Union. The Bank said it hopes that its contribution will help to make the residents’ lives more comfortable.
