The Ministry of Tourism, Industry and Commerce said Banks DIH, Namilco and Pandama Wines won trophies for having the best large, medium and small booths respectively, at GuyExpo 2011.
This is the second year that the ministry has hosted the competition which sought to recognise the most creative and innovative booths, a press release from the Government Information Agency (GINA) said.
Booths were judged on presentation (integration of company identity, design and graphic elements, adherence to guidelines, messages incorporated within booth); product presentation (thoughtfulness, creativity and effectiveness of product display or service portrayal, informative); and exhibits personnel (professional etiquette, staff interaction with visitors, knowledge of product/service), the release stated. The winners were awarded on Sunday, the closing night of the exposition and trade fair.
This year’s exposition was held under the theme ‘Enhancing Growth through Competitiveness.’
