Fast food entity Big Daddy’s Burgers became the latest corporate business to support the Guyana cricket team ahead of the Regional Super-50 tournament when it presented team skipper Assad Fudadin with a cash donation at a simple handing over ceremony at the Georgetown Cricket Club (GCC) yesterday.
Digicel, Noble House Seafoods, Church’s Chicken and Dave’s West Indian products are the other business entities that have given financial support to the national team. Making the donation on
behalf of the owner of Big Daddy’s Burger Cindy Jaikaram, which is located in Parade Street, Kingston, was her husband Lionel Jaikaram who is the president of the Georgetown Cricket Club (GCC). He said that the donation was made as a further initiative to encourage other corporate operations across the country to support the Amazon Conquerors.
