The Emanie Netball Club on Sunday bagged its second win of the Digicel/Guyana Netball Association senior league tournament on Sunday at the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall.
Emanie defeated All Stars 39-20 with Angeline Mc Carthy top scoring with 35 goals from 40 attempts.
Renee Anderson added three goals and Decoata Lucius one.
It was the second defeat of the competition for the All Stars team which failed to convert some of their attempts at goal.
Simonica Fanfair scored 19 goals from 44 attempts while Shonette Estwick accounted for the other goal.
Meanwhile, the Doves Netball Club of Berbice, bounced back to defeat the All Stars following a depressing points to 33 loss to Emanie Netball Club on Saturday at the CASH in the first day of play in the League.
The Doves managed to edge All Stars 28 – 19.
The All Stars team, boasting several national players, failed to shine putting up a lacklustre performance against the Doves.
Shenne Subrattie scored 22 goals from 39 attempts while the Doves secured the additional six goals from Althea Mingo.
For the All Stars, Christie Roberts was the chief goal scorer depositing 13 goals from 25 attempts while Shonette Estwick added the other six goals.
Matches in the League continue this Friday.
