(Barbados Nation) Loss-making regional airline LIAT has plans to boost business with attractive travel packages for seniors, sports people, students and shoppers.
The airline recently started discussions with the Barbados Association of Retired Persons (BARP) to put together a programme of discounted travel and special packages for members, chief executive officer Brian Challenger told a Press conference announcing LIAT’s 4S Plan yesterday.
The conference was held at LIAT’s headquarters in Antigua ahead of the airline’s 55th anniversary tomorrow.
Of the contact with BARP, Challenger told the SATURDAY SUN: “It’s still a work in progress but we’re hoping it can be a pilot for other similar movements with seniors.
