(Jamaica Observer) Businessman and owner of BJ Hannah, Joseph Hannah, was shot dead as he left his Retirement Crescent business yesterday.
Police report that Hannah, 81, was driving out of the premises when two men on a motorcycle rode up and ordered him to go back inside the premises.
Hannah refused and drove off and his attackers opened fire, hitting him several times.
He managed to drive for a few metres before his vehicle crashed into a woodwork shop.
Hannah died on the spot and the gunmen escpaed with two bags containing documents.
Police investigators are trying to ascertain whether Hannah’s murder was a contract killing.
