The Ministry of Culture, Youth & Sport in collaboration with the Embassy of Cuba will be hosting the Third Travelling Caribbean Film Showcase at the Umana Yana, National Gallery of Art, Castellani House and the University of Guyana running from today up to October 28.
The Ministry in a press release said that a total of 27 films will be screened during the period at the locations with a special selection of Haitian Films slated for the Umana Yana daily at 17:00hrs while the programmes presented at the National Gallery will begin from October 18-28 18:00hrs daily. There will be no show on October 26 as this day is a national holiday.
The Ministry of Culture and the Cuban Embassy are urging all movie lovers to come out and view these films. The event promises to depict a wide range of themes and admission is free.
