The Georgetown City Council yesterday expressed profound sadness at the news of the passing of one of its councillors, Zaman Ali on Monday.
In a statement, it said that Ali became a councillor of the Georgetown municipality in 1994 when the incumbent council came into office.ย Ali served on the City Works, and Legal Affairs Committees.
