The Guyana Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (GSPCA) is calling for the revision of the laws governing cruelty to animals and it has proposed new legislation which it wants the next parliament to discuss in order to significantly curtail animal abuse.
The GSPCA in a press release yesterday noted that once more the Guyanese public has been confronted with horrible acts of cruelty to animals and it condemned these incidents in the strongest possible terms.
