An unusual October snowstorm in New York yesterday has resulted in Caribbean Airlines having to divert one of its flights from JFK International Airport to Buffalo.
According to a press release issued last evening by Caribbean Airlines, flight BW 524 bound for JFK yesterday was diverted to Buffalo owing to the inclement weather. “Flight BW 524 landed at Buffalo Niagara International
Airport at 3.39 pm and all passengers have been accommodated,” the release said. It added that the flight was scheduled to depart Buffalo as BW 3524 at 8 am today and was expected to arrive at JFK at 9.15 am.
As a result of this, the airline said, flight BW 525 which was scheduled to leave JFK yesterday will now depart New York today at 10.45 and arrive in Trinidad at 3.50 pm.
Caribbean Airlines apologised for the inconvenience which is beyond the control of the airline and encouraged customers to check its website www.caribbean-airlines. com or its Facebook page www.-facebook.com/caribbeanairlines for updates.
