Current Chairman of the International Cricket Council’s Cricket Committee, Clive Lloyd, has come to the assistance of a young student from President’s College.
According to former Guyana Ambassador Ronald Austin, the most successful West Indies captain Lloyd, has been assisting 14-year-old third form student Letroy Abel financially.
“He needed assistance to continue with his education and Clive willingly agreed,” Austin told Stabroek Sport yesterday.
According to Austin, Lloyd has been assisting Abel with his tuition for a couple of years.
